If you have used another Beetroot Powder that was not clumpy, it's because it is NOT pure Beetroot Powder.  Manufacturers mix it with other ingredients to 'de-clump' the powder, so you are not getting pure Beet Powder.

Acidity and Fruit Juices


It is important that you do not use acidic juices to mix Beet Powders with. The acidity activates the Nitric Oxide activity in the beets and you do not want that to begin to happen until it gets into you stomach. Most fruit juices, not citric juices are acidic. -Juices you can mix with are, apple, pear, watermelon, and raspberry.  These are fruit juices that can be taken with Beet SuperFood (acidic juices should not be used) as long as beets are not dissolved in acidic stuff, though you can drink beets then eat an orange right after, it is the actual mixing/dissolving thing that we need to avoid citrus. -- You can mix beets in granola, yogurt, oatmeal, sprinkle on toast and butter. Some like to dip bananas in it. Sprinkle on your salad, mix with oil and vinegar dressing, cereal like cheerios.
